What's up?
I don't know why but I'm happy right now.....
Maybe it's because it's spring...
Maybe it's because the wisteria bloomed and made the whole yard smell beautiful...
Maybe it's because I got to sleep in today...
I don't know why....
But I'm happy :)

So about my day...
I woke up and ate breakfast and went out and rode my bike for 1 hour .
Then David's friends came over and played.
The ice cream truck came and we got ice cream :)
David got turtle ninja or something and I got a strawberry sunday crunch bar...YUMMM!!
And then to top off my wonderful day Mom ordered pizza for everyone from Papa John's with extra garlic sauce...DOUBLE YUMMM!!
They had Spinich Alfredo pizza!! TRIPLE YUMM YUMM YUMM!!!!!
So yes, I had a great day!
Yesterday was not as great...Started great though...But then...
So we went to the park yesterday to fly our kites.... David who is 3 was flying one and then he decided he wanted to play on the slide....
So he asked a boy that was 4 or 5 if he wanted to play with him...AND THAT LITTLE BOY PUNCHED HIM!!!
so David went to stand up and the little boy sucker punched him and knocked him down and then kept punching him!!!!!!! And almost knocked him down the slide!!
So mom told the mom and you know what she did???!!!
SHE SHRUGGED AND WALKED AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So we left and we were walking so we walked toward home....
Now there is a police station a mile from our house...
So we came up with a plan...
We knew that if the mom did nothing about that then that boy would grow up thinking that is ok....
so we decided to walk down to the police station and see if an officer would just go down and talk to the boy....See if we couldn't make a positive impact on the boys life...
By the time we got back they were gone...When the officer arrived he said the he would have talked to him but the way TX laws are...
If a kid under 10 took out a gun and killed a kid under 10 there isn't a thing they could do about it!!
That is just crazy to me!

The other mom that was there said that the mom left right after we did because she was afraid we would get the police involved..Which we did....
I'm just glad David wasn't hurt too bad.
well I gotta go...

I heard about this on from your mom too and thought it was so sad, mostly for your little brother but also for this little boy who will grow up thinking he can bully people. My own son just turned 4 and I don't know what I'd do if someone punched him! You and your mom handled it sooooo well, I wonder if my daughter (who is almost 11) or I would have stayed as calm and cool? It set a good example for David that you guys handled it that way.
